RITA REIS

With 24 years on the mats, Rita Reis is one of Brazil's most complete martial artists — a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, 1st Dan black belt in Judo, and experienced Wrestling competitor, combining three disciplines into one well-rounded game. Her competitive career includes: Silver medalist, IBJJF World Master (2025) • Bronze medalist, IBJJF Pan-American (2025 & 2026) • Champion, International Master (2026) • Champion, IBJJF Miami & Orlando Opens Former member of the Brazilian National Judo Team, with medals at the World Championship, European Cups and South American Championship Bronze medalist, US Open Judo Championships (2026) Now based at Elementum JJ Oviedo, Rita brings her world-class experience to Girls on the Mat, our women's-only BJJ class — a welcoming space for women of all levels to learn, grow and train with one of Brazil's most accomplished martial artists.
