Fabricio Medici
Professor Fabricio Medici is a 4th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt with more than 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring students of all ages. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, he began his martial arts journey with Judo and Karate before earning his BJJ black belt under Professor Givanildo Santana.
A standout competitor, Professor Medici has competed extensively, including two podium finishes at the prestigious Jiu-Jitsu Pan-American Championship. He is also a world-recognized referee, serving as head referee for organizations such as IBJJF, ADCC and AJP, as well as events including Kasai Grappling and Karate Combat.
Beyond his achievements on the mats, Professor Medici has been married for over 20 years and is a father of three, all BJJ practitioners. With Christian values as his foundation, he brings a positive, family-centered approach to teaching.
Now leading Elementum JJ Oviedo in Florida, Professor Medici is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline and community through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
