Start Your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Journey in Oviedo
Never trained before? That is exactly where most of our members started. Our adult classes are open to all levels, so you can step on the mat, learn the basics at your own pace and build from there.

You Don't Need to Get in Shape First
One of the most common reasons people put off trying Jiu-Jitsu is the idea that they need to be fit, flexible or experienced before they walk in. You don't. Training itself is how your conditioning, flexibility and coordination improve over time.
Whether you are in your twenties or your fifties, coming from another sport or from the couch, you start where you are. Coaches help you adjust the intensity so you can keep showing up and keep learning.
What Your First Class Looks Like
Our team will contact you after you request your free trial to confirm a class time. When you arrive, here is the general flow:
Arrive a little early
Check in at the front desk, meet the team and get a quick tour of the mats and facility.
Warm up with the group
Classes start with movement drills that prepare your body for training.
Learn a technique
The coach demonstrates a position or technique, then you practice it with a partner step by step.
Ask questions
After class, talk with the team about which classes fit your goals and schedule.
Building a Strong Foundation
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is built on positions, leverage and timing. As a beginner, you focus on core movements — escaping bad positions, keeping a stable base and understanding how to control a partner — before adding more complex techniques.
Our adult classes run throughout the week, morning, midday and evening, and are listed as all levels on the schedule. Consistency matters more than intensity: two or three classes a week is a common way to start.
- Adult classes open to all levels
- Morning, midday and evening options during the week, plus Saturday
- No-Gi class available on Wednesdays
- Girls on the Mat women-only classes

What to Bring to Your First Class

- A water bottle
- Flip-flops or sandals for walking off the mats
- Trimmed nails and no jewelry, to keep you and your partners safe
- Ask our team about uniforms when they confirm your class
